The Australia and New Zealand program runs every winter quarter. The courses are specially chosen to give participants interesting, valuable and relevant instruction that exposes students to the cultural, history, fauna and geological differences that make Australia and New Zealand very unique.

The first six weeks students will study at the Newman College, part of the University of Melbourne. After that they will fly to Auckland, New Zealand for four weeks where they take their classes at one of New Zealand's top educational institutions. Click here for more information.

Studying at a sister college as an exchange student is economical compared to most study abroad programs. It is geared for the independent student who can travel on their own and assimilate well into a different education system. Students pay Washington state tuition according to the number of credits that they take. Travel and living expenses are paid directly by the student. Monthly homestay fees (which includes two meals/day) are $400-$500/month.

Currently, South Puget Sound Community College has the international sister college:

El Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in Queretaro, Mexico offers intensive Spanish courses for the beginner, intermediate or advanced student. Semesters begin in January and August.
