An additional fee will be assessed at time of registration - $2.97 per credit for 1-10 credits per quarter and $1.07 per credit for 11-18 credits per quarter. These fees were initiated and approved by South Puget Sound Community College students.
Books
The cost of books varies depending upon the type of class.

Supplies
Costs vary according to the kind of courses you plan to take (paper, pens, pencils, etc.). Individual technical programs have costs for tools, uniforms and other specialized materials.
Parking
On our main campus, students are required to have a valid parking permit. A permit is required if you park a vehicle on the main campus for day or evening classes, Monday through Friday. Guests and visitors can park in metered parking or obtain a temporary permit from the Security Office in Building 25, Student and Administrative Services, Main Floor. Parking permits must be visibly displayed on the vehicle by the first day of the quarter. A parking permit does not guarantee a parking space on campus. Costs for parking on main campus are as follows:
- PART-TIME PER QUARTER - $35.12
- FULL-TIME PER QUARTER - $43.90
- ANNUAL PERMIT (FULL-TIME) - $97.56
- ANNUAL PERMIT (PART-TIME) - $78.05
- ADDITIONAL VEHICLE PERMIT - $5.42
- DAILY PARKING PASS - $2.00

*Annual parking permits are sold fall quarter only.
Parking at our Hawks Prairie Campus and our Yelm branch is free. Enrolled students are entitled to FREE Intercity Transit use while you carry a valid South Puget Sound Student ID card.
