Correspondence Testing
Testing for correspondence and distance learning classes offered at South Puget Sound Community College is coordinated through the College Testing Center. Students receive a course syllabus when they purchase their class materials which includes the directions for scheduling exams and an annual calendar of testing dates and times. Testing for WAOL students (Washington On-Line) is coordinated through the individual instructor or the originating campus for the class.
How do I set up my tests?
- Correspondence testing occurs from the second week of each quarter through finals week on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
- To schedule an appointment, call the correspondence testing voice mailbox 754-7711 ext. 4298 or email the testing center (Click Here to schedule your test). For all requests - you must include your name, phone number, class and instructor's name, which test you intend to complete and what testing date you would like. For e-mail requests remember to put "Correspondence Test" in the subject line.
- Calls or e-mail requests must be received at least 24 hours prior to the date you intend to take your test. In order to insure that we have the proper exams available, the correspondence testing proctor cannot accommodate "drop-in" examinees.
- No one will call you back. Just report on time to the room listed below. If there are any schedule changes you will receive a return e-mail or a call to verify time and location. Be prompt and always allow sufficient time to find parking and complete your exam. We must follow the instructors exam time limits. All tests must be completed by 9:00 p.m.
** Should you require accommodations for a testing session, contact Disability Support Services by emailing dss@spscc.ctc.edu or by calling (360) 596-5394.
